There is no denying that this is pretty good, and I do indeed like it, but it certainly doesn't feel classical. The instruments involved are normally associated with classical, but it's got more of an electronica/dance feel to it.

Finish it! :o
This is THE best intro to a song I have ever heard, and I am a picky bastard about my music.

I can't rate it a zero, nor can I rate it high either. Everything feels too deliberate and almost nothing flows together properly. It just doesn't sound good.

It is certainly fine as it is and is a nice peaceful thing to listen to. Though I feel like this could be better if there were a bit more progression to it.

Oh, god. You've outdone yourself on this one. This one outclasses The Beautiful Savage, which I had thought just about impossible!

This is one of the best piano solos I've ever heard, and while extra instruments could do it some good, I rather like the simplicity. Bonus points for length too. You get a five, a ten, and a download. :)
Author's Response:
man you're the second person that wanted extra instruments lol btw I'm actually horrible at making piano solos (if you've heard Peaceful Dreams which is extremely simple xD) But I actually didnt realize how much potential I had with piano songs until I actually finished this. But I'm glad you enjoyed, 5'd, 10'd, and downloaded. ^_^v

this is one of the few pieces with a 'joyful' theme that isn't outright cheesy. well worth the ten stars and a five on the score board.

its distorted like hell, but if that were fixed, it would be awesome. :)
Author's Response:
Yeah, the mastering on the is terrible. I'm going to rebuild it from scratch.

just one suggestion. try to smooth out the transitional periods. there are about four places where the music just jumps into another stage, either getting louder/softer, adding an instrument while getting much louder in a split second, or changing the flow of the piece altogether without any warning at all. it needs to climax and regress gradually rather than have a suddeness that makes the listener wince.

ok, first of all, how did you get away with putting this in the classical category? its quite obviously closer to electronica. also, the drums didnt really sound lonesome or 'dreary' at all...in fact, they were pretty upbeat in comparison to the...whatever it is that electronic violin sounding thing is. which is why i voted at two stars for this review. the attempted sadness mixing with a more jovial beat just sounded bad.
